22°After a nice breakfast it was time to start our journey into the mountains. We did a great hike up to some waterfalls and across a fast-flowing river. Stunning views and a nice hike to start exploring the island!
Through a cave-like tunnel to the first waterfall of the hike..
We even had to traverse a wild flowing river..
It was a great hike, time to get some food and explore the old road back to our 'hometown' of Ponta do Sol..
Let's go for a swim in our hotel and take a Turkish bath..
Let's checkout the sunset and enjoy some dinner with great views!
Tomorrow we will search for a different hike, maybe on the other side of the island. It a bit of a drive but probably worth it..
