Hong Kong, Central–Mid-Levels Escalators
Walking distance of 19.3 kilometres including 36 floors
Today we took the tram from our Hotel to the famous Mid-Level Escalators. These escalators are the longest, outdoor and covered, escalators in the world and climb a pretty tall hill. It was build to facilitate people living in the Mid-Level area to reach their offices in Central.
After the escalators we took the MTR to Kowloon island, had a great lunch (Laksa Noodle Soup with Prawns, Chicken and Pork) and visited the 'Graffiti Wall of Fame'..
After this 'Urban Exploration' it was time to visit the stylish Nan Lian Garden and old Chi Lin Nunnery..
After that we checked out Sha Tin Park at the river and watched a Horse Race at Sha Tin Race Course!
