We decided to hike the Angels Landing trail up to Scout Lookout, which gave us a beautiful view over the canyon and the river that created it.

Tired of hiking in the midday heat, we headed back to the motel for a plunge in the jacuzzi.
Tomorrow, we drive through Valley of Fire State Park and visit the Hoover Dam.
