Day 13

We crossed the Navajo Nation today visiting Antilope Canyon X near Page in Arizona and the beautiful Monument Valley in Utah.

The Canyon was created by flash floods creating a sandpaper-like texture and beautiful sculptures within the rock face.

After a nice hike through the canyon we headed up to Utah passing Navajo National Monument.

Monument Valley was beautiful and with the sun setting the light was perfect to see the mountains glow red.

Time to head to our motel in a tiny village called Bluff where we had a nice burger to finish the day.

Tomorrow we have a bit of a drive ahead towards Capitol Reef National Park. Hopefully we see a bit of it already before exploring it the day after.
