We explored the city center of San Cristóbal de las Casas today. We started by climbing to the Iglesia De Guadalupe located on the top of a hill providing a nice view over the sunny city.

26°We explored the city center of San Cristóbal de las Casas today. We started by climbing to the Iglesia De Guadalupe located on the top of a hill providing a nice view over the sunny city.
The city contains many churches and markets connected by busy narrow streets.
After a delicious and cheap taco lunch, we did some shopping at the local (tourist) market.
While we did our last purchase, it suddenly started to rain cats and dogs. Luckily we found shelter under the plastic roof of one of the vendors.
We will explore some nearby indigenous towns in the neighborhood tomorrow..
