Today I decided to walk to Notting Hill from London Victoria via Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. It was a gorgeous sunny day and a great time to explore London solo for a day as Lianne has a conference at the Royal Society.

15 floorsToday I decided to walk to Notting Hill from London Victoria via Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. It was a gorgeous sunny day and a great time to explore London solo for a day as Lianne has a conference at the Royal Society.
Although Notting Hill is nothing like the famous movie it is rather cool with colourful buildings and lots of vintage shops and market stalls.
After grabbing a quick bite to eat I took the Underground towards Covent Garden to explore the Jubilee Market and visit the Transport Museum.
The London Transport Museum is a great little museum with awesome old street cars, trolley buses and old tube trains.
Time to head to the Royal Society to pick up Lianne via Trafalgar square and grab a nice dinner at Picadilly Circus!
After dinner we walked back to London Victoria and took the train to our hotel.
Tomorrow I will spend my last couple of hours in London visiting the Shard, the Tate Museum and Westminster Abbey.
