Today we took an early train up to Victoria Station to watch the Changing of the Guards and experience Buckingham Palace and the surrounding area.

16 floorsToday we took an early train up to Victoria Station to watch the Changing of the Guards and experience Buckingham Palace and the surrounding area.
After the rather boring ceremony we headed into St. James Park and grabbed some lunch on our way to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. I had a very nice chicken and leak pie!
Sadly the famous Big Ben is currently being renovated but the views of the river and the gorgeous buildings was still very special.
Time to head to Piccadilly Circus with Westminster Abbey and the Horse Guards Parade along the way..
We checked out some cool shops around Piccadilly Circus and of course checked out the Piccadilly Lights!
After a nice stroll we decided to grab a delicious Chinese Buffet in Chinatown near the West End.
Tomorrow we head out of the busy city and to the beach in Brighton. From the stunning Royal Pavilion to the bustling Brighton Pier! Hopefully the weather remains dry..
