On our way to our last Croatian destination Dubrovnik, we decided to visit the city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This city is famous for its tall bridge that was sadly destroyed during the Bosnian War and rebuild thereafter.
Unlike in Croatia, the Islam has a major presence in the city.
On our way back to Croatia, we drove through the Republika Srpska, one of the two entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The most remarkable difference to us was the low amount of traffic signs compared to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After a long day of driving, we will leave the car in the parking lot of our hotel in Dubrovnik and will make use of other means of transportation (walking/swimming/by bus/kayaking) while exploring Dubrovnik the upcoming days.
