After walking a bit through the outer neighbourhoods we came across the dome of Chorsu Market. It being a market it was a great place to get some lunch which was soup with onion stuffed bread.
After a short metro trip we arrived close to A. Navoi National Park and the Palace Druzhby Narodov opera building featuring an impressive flag pole..
Time to head back to our hotel via the Tashkent Tower and relax for a bit. Of course we travel in Soviet-style..
Time to find some, hopefully not traditional, food.. I say Burger Time!
Tashkent was a great little city to exlore. Uzbekistan was amazing to discover but now it's time to go home. Tomorrow we fly at 9:00 to Istanbul for a connecting flight back to Dusseldorf..
