Time for a quick visit to Dunkirk in France. This town is famous for the "Battle of Dunkirk" in which more then 338.000 soldiers were evacuated back to England in 1940. We visited a small museum about the topic and explored the town.
As soon as we got back into Belgium the news was annouced that the region we visited was now off-limits "orange" for Dutch citizens due to COVID-19, but luckily we were able to visit in time. Time for a nice relaxing swim at our holiday park.
Tomorrow, we will take a nice long walk along the dunes and beach.
